Prototyping Fun
In Thinker Space, the team used industrial finishes, and filled the walls with hand-drawn sketches, and inspirational quotes with messages like “mix it up” and “get some stuff”. Digital screens offer insight to guide the visitor’s experience in this open-ended prototyping lab space.
Accessible Biology
Explore More Me is a lab space for visitors to learn about Biology by performing experiments using actual medical equipment. My job was to design a space that inspired engagement and curiosity. With neutral white and gray walls, and gallery like images of cells and other micro-organisms visitors can become energized to learn about the Human Body.
Hitting the Wall
Think It Up was designed to encourage creativity and innovation. The space needed a strong visual statement to set the proper tone. The dominant architectural feature was an 80’ curved masonry wall. Inspired by day-glo colors, street art, and patent drawings, the team constructed a unique and funky backdrop for visitors to explore.
